How are we adapting creative practice in this time of restricted movement?

This Culture Café will be the first of a series in which residents of the Creative Work Shop programme, produced by Findhorn Bay Arts, will share experiences of their residencies based on Forres High Street. Creative Work Shop is a residency programme produced by Findhorn Bay Arts, which sees creative practitioners working with the local community to respond to themes of Place & Regeneration.

As the first artist in residence of the Creative Work Shop, Caroline Inckle, will share something of her experience at the final stages of her project. The recent ‘lockdown’ took place mid way through Caroline’s residency, the title of ‘negotiating space’ reflects how the project had to shift to accommodate the new limitations on social contact. Culture Café is a networking and meeting space for artists and people who work in the arts. As always there will be plenty of opportunity to network, share inspirations and concerns, including how current restrictions on movement have impacted and continue to impact on work and creative practice.
